The new application that helps any of your employees determine jobsite elevation marks quickly and accurately.

ELEVATION CONVERTER FUCTION

When provided with the intended elevations, Benchmark Slope Application instantly provides target pole-shots based on your established instrument height.

After setting up their Instrument, the user is prompted to first enter the Jobsite Benchmark Elevation, followed by the initial reading on their Graduated Pole  at the benchmark.

With these two pieces of information, the application calculates the Height of Instrument and opens an interface which allows the user to input various elevation points. Users can choose to use the application’s built-in optical scanner to read the plans with their smart phone camera, or choose to enter the elevation points using a standard keyboard. With each elevation entered, the application instantly displays the desired Target Pole Shotv at that given point. By tapping a Quick Toggle, the user can instantly convert results from Decimal Feet, Feet and Inches (Imperial), or Meters.

Benchmark Slope also displays the previous two calculations, allowing users a quick reference to previous results.

SLOPE CALCULATION FUNCTION

The application also features a Slope Calculation Function that allows users to quickly and accurately calculate difference in elevation, distance apart, and gradient between any two elevation points.

The User can enter any three items of data, and the application efficiently calculates and displays six interrelated results in a clear and intuitive interface.

  1. ELEVATION OF POINT A

  2. ELEVATION OF POINT B

  3. DIRECTION OF SLOPE BETWEEN A AND B

  4. DIFFERENCE IN ELEVATION BETWEEN A AND B

  5. DISTANCE APART POINT A AND B

  6. % GRADIENT OF SLOPE

This feature allows the user to instantly determine grade-range compliance, pitch, and grade. A Quick toggle allows the user to change between rise or fall. AND to instantly convert between desired units of measurement, offering instant conversion between Decimal Feet, Feet and Inches (Imperial), and Meters.

Previously a tedious and error-prone process, Benchmark brings speed and accuracy to establishing jobsite elevations and determining slope between any two points. With this application, virtually any user can quickly determine accurate elevation points in any desired unit of measurement, AND Quick toggles allow users to instantly switch between desired units of measurement, offering instant conversion between Decimal Feet, Feet and Inches (Imperial), and Meters with a mere touch of the button.

Conceived and designed by and for contractors like you, Benchmark Slope saves you time and money, expands the skill set of your employee teams, and reduces costly site errors or mistakes— Try it for free!
